Ouachita River Trail
The Ouachita River is a 605-mile-long river that runs south and east through the U.S. states of Arkansas and Louisiana. Running through Ouachita Parish, this river is perfect for paddlers looking to go at a faster pace with more challenging currents.

This is a Downstream Paddle and a shuttle is required. It is best paddled with a North or North West wind. Any wind out of the South will increase the difficulty of the paddle. Less experienced paddlers should only paddle the Ouachita River when it is at Pool Stage. Pool Stage is at 21 feet at the Monroe Gage. Always be cautious and aware of boat traffic on the Ouachita River. Always Respect other Sportsmen. Click HERE to check water levels.
