Sterlington Sports Complex Adds New Batting Cage Facility

Sterlington, LA – The Sterlington Sports Complex (SCC) unveiled a new batting cage complex. The project was funded by Discover Monroe-West Monroe for $1.1 million.

The new complex will feature 14 lane tunnel covered batting cages which will create warm-up space for teams participating in tournaments at the SCC. New additions also include sidewalks to the playing fields creating a safe path to and from the playing fields and batting cages.

“We are excited to enhance the experience for visitors competing at Sterlington Sports Complex. The addition of the excellent batting cages will provide an opportunity for all teams competing to have warm up and hitting time prior to games. This will serve as another positive reason to host tournaments at Sterlington Sports complex,” said Alana Cooper, Discover Monroe-West Monroe President/CEO.
