School Nutrition Association of Louisiana State Convention June 27-29

Monroe, LA – The School Nutrition Association of Louisiana (SNAL) State Convention will be held June 27-29 at the Monroe Civic Center.

This event is expected to bring an estimated economic impact of over $186,000 to Ouachita Parish and over 400 room nights.

The School Nutrition Association of Louisiana works to ensure all children have access to healthy school meals and nutrition education by providing members with education and training, setting standards.

“Working with Jo Lynne and the School Nutrition Association of Louisiana has been a pleasure and I am excited to see this convention come to full fruition. SNAL is a great association for not just our community but all of Louisiana. We are excited to welcome the attendees to Monroe-West Monroe,” said Claire Stapp, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Sales & Events Developer.

SNAL is a nonprofit organization founded in 1954 and represents 77 local chapters and 3,000 members who provide high-quality, low-cost meals to students across Louisiana.
