Red River Athletic Conference Championship May 2-6
Sterlington, LA – The Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Baseball Championship is back May 2-6 at the Sterlington Sports Complex. This event has an estimated economic impact of over $392,900 for Ouachita Parish.
The Red River Athletic Conference Baseball Championship is back for its third year. The RRAC provides an opportunity to see their top 8 team tournament competing for a conference championship. Teams include top seed LSU Shreveport (37-5) currently ranked the 3rd team in the nation and along with second seed University of Houston-Victoria (31-13) as they begin their playoff journey. Other qualifying teams include: Texas A & M-Texarkana, LSU Alexandria, Louisiana Christian University, Our Lady of the Lake, Jarvis Christian University and the University of Southwest.
“We’re looking forward to another great weekend of collegiate baseball at the Sterlington Sports Complex. This conference brings a competitive atmosphere, and we can’t wait to host the teams and their families,” said Scott Bruscato, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Executive Vice President of Sales.
