Louisiana State Games 5K/10K September 4


West Monroe, LA – Discover Monroe-West Monroe will host the Louisiana State Games 5K and 10K on September 4. The course will challenge runners’ skills in a hilly road race.


The event will start and finish at Kiroli Park in West Monroe, LA. The 5K and 10K will start together and follow the same route until the 1.7-mile point.


All participants will receive a Louisiana State Games t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each of the five age groups, as well as the overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and Grand Masters Male/Female.


“Discover Monroe-West Monroe looks forward to hosting these races in partnership with Ouachita Green from the beautiful Kiroli Park in West Monroe,” said Amy Keifenheim, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Sales and Event Developer. “These challenging courses are sure to elevate any runner’s endurance and bring them back wanting to beat their times from the years prior.”


Online registration ends Friday, September 3. Race day signups will be from 6:30 AM - 7:15 AM at Kiroli Park.
