Louisiana Classic August 21st – 25th

West Monroe, LA – The Southern Reined Cow Horse Alliance (SRCHA) presents the Louisiana Classic August 21st– 25th at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center. This event has an estimated economic impact of over $178,655 for Ouachita Parish.

Reining is a competitive style of western riding where riders guide horses through a series of patterns. Events will begin Wednesday, August 21st at 7:40 am, Thursday, August 22nd at 7:10 am, Friday, August 23rd at 7 am, Saturday, August 24th at 7 am, and Sunday, August 25th at 8 am.

“We are excited to bring Southern Reined Cow Horse Association’s Louisiana Classic back for a second year to Ike Hamilton. They are showing a 30% increase in participation over year one, and we look forward to showing all their competitors our unique southern hospitality style,” said Scott Bruscato, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Executive Vice President of Sales.
