Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade February 11th
Monroe-West Monroe, LA– Join Krewe of Janus on February 11th for the 40th annual Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade! What better way to celebrate than with this year’s parade theme - 40 years of Janus! Check out all Mardi Gras events happening on February 11th below!
Krewe of Janus Children’s Mardi Gras Parade – 10 AM
Bring the whole family out for a day filled with fun! Registration will take place at 9 AM, with floats lining up at 9:30 AM and the parade rolling at 10 AM. This event will take place at Pecanland Mall.
Downtown West Monroe Mardi Gras Festivities – 11 AM
Downtown West Monroe will be bringing the fun all day long! Enjoy a variety of food trucks, vendors, and activities in Alley Park. Visit Downtown West Monroe on Facebook for updates.
Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade – 1 PM
Bring your furry friend to Antique Alley for the Krewe of Paws Pet Parade. Registration will begin at 11 AM, followed by float & costume judging at noon. The parade will roll at 1 PM.
Jester Jog Color 5K – 2:30 PM
Get ready to run at Jester Jog Color 5k in Alley Park. All finishers receive a medal, shirt, & sunglasses. Proceeds benefit the Downtown West Monroe Revitalization Group.
Downtown Monroe Mardi Gras Bash – 3 PM
Don't miss on fun in Downtown Monroe! The Masur Museum of Art will have a free mask making pop up. Go DJ Kidd will be providing live entertainment, and Kitchen Cooking and Kona Ice will be selling food and treats.
Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade – 6 PM
Celebrate 40 years of Janus at the 40th
Annual Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade! The parade will roll at 6 pm starting in West Monroe at 1118 Natchitoches Street and end in Monroe on Oliver Road. Leading the parade are this year’s grand marshals, Internation Powerlifting Champions Kasee Sketoe and Karson Oliver. You can also see appearances by this year’s king and queen, Lee & Suzette Sawyer!
