Gulf Coast Volleyball Tip-Off August 2-3
Monroe, LA – The Gulf Coast Christian Homeschool Conference returns for its 5th annual Gulf Coast Volleyball Tip-Off, taking place on August 2nd and 3rd at the ULM Activity Center. This event will bring an estimated economic impact of over $120,433 to Ouachita Parish. Teams will advance to the National Homeschool Christian Volleyball Tournament in Lawrence, KS October 17-19, 2024.
The divisions for the tournament are girls 18U, girls 16U, girls 14U, girls 12U, boys 18U, and boys 16U. First and second place finishes will be awarded for each age group.
The rolling schedule is as follows:
Girls 18U - Friday at 11am
Girls 16u - Friday at 9am
Girls 14u - Friday at 8am
Girls 12u - Friday at 10am
Boys 18u - Friday at 10am
Boys 16u - Friday at 8am
“We are honored to be serving as the host community for the National Homeschool Volleyball Regional. This event presents a wonderful opportunity to introduce our community to the participating teams, coaches, and spectators, and it also provides an excellent chance to attract potential students to the University of Louisiana Monroe campus. The partnership between Discover Monroe-West Monroe and ULM can be mutually beneficial, as it allows us to offer an impressive facility and showcase our local university,” said Scott Bruscato, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Executive Vice President of Sales.
Admission is $10/day or $15/2 day weekend for adults and $6/day or $10/2 day weekend for students.
