Dixie Softball World Series July 27-31

Monroe, LA – Play ball! The Dixie Softball World Series will be held at the Ouachita Sportsplex July 27-31. Opening ceremonies will be held at ULM Fant-Ewing Coliseum on Friday, July 26th at 6 pm.

This event will have an estimated economic impact of over $424,049 for Ouachita Parish. World series will be held for the Sweetees Traditional, Sweetees X-play, Angels, and Ponytails.

"We are thrilled to welcome the Dixie Softball players, coaches, and their families to Monroe-West Louisiana. We are a community that shares a passion for sports, and we hope the teams and players perform to the best of their ability. Ouachita Sportsplex is an excellent softball facility, and we are privileged to play a small role in their team's pursuit of a championship. For those visiting from outside Louisiana, we encourage you to explore our many attractions and enjoy a meal at one of our local restaurants,” said Scott Bruscato, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Executive Vice President of Sales.

The games will begin at 9 am on Saturday, July 26th and conclude on Tuesday, July 30th. Results will be shared daily on the East Ouachita Recreation District Facebook page. Admission is $10/day.
