Discover Monroe-West Monroe Releases Annual Mardi Gras Guide

Monroe-West Monroe, LA– Experience double the fun with two parades, two krewes, and two weekends of Mardi Gras excitement! Discover Monroe-West Monroe has crafted a guide for all things Mardi Gras. Learn about the history of Krewe de Riviere and Krewe of Janus, parade routes, delicious Mardi Gras foods, and more.

The Krewe de Riviere parade will roll January 27th at 5 pm. Attendees can also enjoy additional activities throughout the day including Mardi Gras Madness at noon followed by a Children’s and Pet parade at 2 pm. Get ready to wear bright colors because this year’s theme is neon revolution!

The Krewe of Janus parade makes its way to Monroe-West Monroe on February 3rd at 6 pm. Start your day by attending the Children’s Mardi Gras Parade at 10 am, followed by the Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade at 1 pm, and Jester Jog at 2:30 pm! Rock out with your friends with this year’s parade theme - Jammin’ with Janus.
