DISCOVER MONROE-WEST MONROE HOSTS LOUISIANA STATE GAMES BASKETBALL

Monroe, LA - Discover Monroe-West Monroe will host the 2021 Louisiana State Games
Basketball Championship Tournament at the ULM Activity Center January 29-30.
The Louisiana State Games was developed to promote amateurism in sports, paying special
attention to an improved quality of life. All winners from the Louisiana State Games programs
are eligible to compete in the National Congress of State Games. 15 teams will compete for the championship titles. The two divisions are large school and small school.

“With safety protocols put in place by the University of Louisiana at Monroe, we are excited
to be hosting a great tournament that will be both safe and fun for our participants and the
community.” said Scott Bruscato, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Senior Vice President of
Sales.

All games will be played at the ULM Activity Center at 100 Warhawk Way, Monroe, LA 71203.
