Discover Monroe-West Monroe Hosts LHSAA State Tennis Championship April 22-26

Monroe, LA – Don’t miss the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) State Tennis Championship April 22-26! This championship will be played at ULM Heard Tennis Stadium, Forsythe Park Tennis Courts, and Bayou Desiard Country Club Tennis Courts.

This event is expected to have an estimated economic impact of over $498,200 for Ouachita Parish. Entrances will open at 7:30 am for teams and 8 am for spectators.

“It will be an exciting week for tennis fans in the Monroe-West Monroe area as the state’s best players are coming here to compete for an individual and team state championship title. We look forward to hosting another successful LHSAA State Tennis tournament and would like to thank our terrific facilities for hosting: University of Louisiana Monroe Heard Stadium, City of Monroe Forsythe Tennis Center and Bayou Desiard Country Club Tennis Courts,” said Scott Bruscato, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Executive Vice President of Sales.
