Discover Monroe-West Monroe Celebrates a Successful Second Annual MWM Restaurant Week

Monroe-West Monroe, LA – Monroe-West Monroe’s second annual MWM Restaurant Week wrapped up last week, with participation from both local residents and visitors. Diners gathered to experience special menus, exclusive deals, and the culinary creativity of the region’s restaurant scene.

“It’s fantastic to know we are being supported not only by the community, but by the efforts of Discover Monroe-West Monroe with programs like MWM Restaurant Week. Guests not only shared with us that they were there supporting restaurant week, but we gained exposure through social media posts by those guests,” said James E. Simpson, Flying Tiger Brewery & Victory Pizza Bar.

Flying Tiger sold 57 orders of their MWM Restaurant Week specials, showcasing the positive impact of the event on local businesses.

“MWM Restaurant Week brought us a great and more active lunch crowd. We sold more lunch specials than the previous weeks. Very thankful for this culinary week,” said Megan Kennedy of Flying Heart Brewing and Pub.

Flying Heart Brewing reported 75 orders of their specials during the event.
