Celebrate 318 Day on March 18

Monroe-West Monroe, LA – March 18 or 3/18 is 318 Day. Since 318 is the area code for north and central Louisiana, it is the perfect way to celebrate the area we live and work in. The City of West Monroe and the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce have created a free word search and coloring sheet to celebrate 318 Day. Students are invited to submit their coloring sheets for prizes.



Large “3” and “8” wooden numbers will be on display in Alley Park in West Monroe. The City
of West Monroe encourages individuals to stop by and be the “1” in the “318.”



Discover Monroe-West Monroe will celebrate 318 Day on social media with the hashtag
#318day. Everyone is invited to highlight something special about the 318 on their social
media platforms. Discover Monroe-West Monroe will be active on social media that day, so be
sure to tag them. They are @discovermonroewestmonroe on Instagram and Discover Monroe-
West Monroe on Facebook.
