Best on the Bayou Classic at Ouachita Sportsplex February 11-13
Monroe, LA – The Best on the Bayou Classic will be held February 11-13 at the Ouachita Sportsplex. The event is expected to bring an economic impact of over $123,000 to Ouachita Parish.
Ten teams will be represented at the Best on the Bayou Classic Softball Tournament - The University of Louisiana at Monroe, Louisiana Tech University, Southern University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Jacksonville State University, Mississippi Valley State University, Southern Illinois University, Syracuse University, University of Evansville, and Morehead State University.
February 11-13 is the opening weekend for NCAA Softball.
“It is exciting to bring teams from all the country to experience Monroe, Louisiana! It will be a wonderful environment with some of the best softball across the country.” said Molly Fichtner, University of Louisiana at Monroe Head Softball Coach.
Admission is $10 a day or $25 for a weekend pass.
