The Many Museums of Monroe-West Monroe
Monroe-West Monroe is home to an array of museums with amazing sights to see. From the fighter jets and memorabilia at Chennault, to the artistic talents displayed at the Masur, you are sure to find a museum that piques your interest!
Tour the beautiful home of Joseph Biedenharn, the first bottler of Coca-Cola, and view the collection of Coca-Cola artifacts. Stroll through the ELSong Gardens to enjoy the peaceful sights of fountains and flowers as birds chirp and butterflies flutter by. Don't miss the Bible Museum on the property! It houses a collection of rare Bibles, including an original 1611 King James Bible.

This museum houses Louisiana’s largest collection of works by world renowned expressionist artist, Don Cicone. Here you can view hundreds of artifacts from African American life in Northeast Louisiana. There is even a section featuring famous African American leaders.

Historic aircraft and vehicles surround this museum! It is filled to the brim with exhibits and artifacts highlighting some of the U.S. and Monroe’s historic chapters in aviation, including the Louisiana native General Claire Chennault, leader of the Flying Tigers. The museum also displays collections of weaponry, uniforms, photographs, and other artifacts from all five branches of the military.
