Join in on the Mardi Gras fun and hang out at the Monroe River Market for a day of festivities! Vendors, entertainment, and MORE!
2:00 PM - Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere Children's & Pet Mardi Gras Parade
Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere is hosting a Children’s & Pet Parade around the Monroe River Market the morning of their parade as a way to send off their floats! Start decorating your wagons and get your pet costumes! There might even be a special guest and prizes.
5:00 PM - Krewe de Riviere Parade
It's time to roll on the river! Get ready for beads, music, and a lot of FUN. The parade starts at West Monroe High School and ends as it crosses underneath the I-20 bridge at Bry Street.

10:00 AM - Krewe of Janus Children's Mardi Gras Parade
The cutest Mardi Gras parade is rolling at Pecanland Mall's Center Court. This free event kicks off the day's celebrations with the cutest mini-Mardi Gras floats and even cuter riders. Complete with beads, candy, and other throws. Registration begins at 9:00 AM, line up is at 9:30 AM.
*CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER* 1:00 PM - Annual Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade
Antique Alley in West Monroe will be filled with pets of all shapes and sizes ready to roll in this year's parade. All pets are welcomed, even those with feathers and scales! This event features food trucks, vendors, and music! Line up begins at 11:00 AM, and the parade will roll at 1:00 PM.
2:30 PM - Jester Jog 5K
Run a portion of the Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade route and back through downtown West Monroe in your Mardi Gras-themed outfits! The crowds will already be gathered for the parade, so many will cheer on our race participants as they run past. Powder Mardi Gras Colors will be thrown throughout the run/walk in celebration! The first 250 finishers will receive specialty beads, a drink token from Flying Heart Brewing & Pub-West Monroe, and a silicone Mardi Gras cup. The race begins at 2:30 PM at the corner of Wood and Commerce Street.
6:00 PM - Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade - ROLLS RAIN OR SHINE!
This parade is the big one! Floats, marching bands, and beads all come together! The parade begins in West Monroe at 1118 Natchitoches Street and ends at Oliver Road in Monroe.
And while you're in town, make sure to stop by Magic Grill in West Monroe for their King Cake Burger!
